Hello to all readers of Ø of ambient! Please welcome our seventh guest, a musician living in Japan: hijaq. What is your past?   My dad gave me a guitar when I was ten and I started making music on my mom’s iPad when i was fourteen. I started hijaq in 2025. Since 2025 I make songs on youtube. What is your present? Hi, I’m jaq. i love cats and music. I moved in Japan this year. I’m inspired by slowcore, ambient and Dorian Concept videos.  What is your future?  For the moment I want to keep doing music, finding beauty in little moments. Please welcome our sixth guest, a Brazilian musician: waigo.  Whats your past?   I started making music in August 2023, inspired by  Sign crushes motorist , but I only started releasing music in January 2024. I thought music was the best way to convey my feelings to the world. One of my most prolific track “souls divided” was released in 2026 with  The Meek , gaining almost 100k streams.  What is your present?  My name is  João Antônio de Andrade Neto  and I'm an indie producer from Brazil. I produce ambient music, slowcore, gloomcore and indie rock, using most of the time string instruments such as guitars and violins. Green ambient: a minimal cozy sub-genre.

  Last time we discovered a new ambient style “yellow ambient”, characterised by guitars and field recordings. I also mentioned that I see music in colours. Today we are going to analyse a new sub-genre, “green ambient”, which took me hours to create a playlist and to define it perfectly.  It’s characterised by minimal sounds, basses and recordings of birds or nature in general. How to create your own concept as an ambient artist ?

Hello “Ø of Ambient” readers, today we are talking about a new interesting topic:  how to create your style .  As an ambient artist it becomes sometimes maddening finding your own style in this music industry full of “copycats” and create content following a strict concept.   You listen/watch other artists and realise you have nothing very clear, so you seek new ambient sub-genres to follow: dark ambient, dreamcore, grey ambient ect…  After a certain time you realise you are not making any progress and switch to a new vibe, forcing you to restart all over.  In this article I will give you three steps to create your style and make your music shine with it, analysing an artist that we previously interviewed: dxstroyed. 1.  Pick your CLFPO Usually artists with very clear concepts follow the CLFPO pattern. Hello to all readers of Ø of ambient! Please welcome our fith guest, a Russian musician: narvent.  What is your past?  I started making music at the age of 11 in 2015 through a program called Cubase. Later I started producing music with FL studio, studying with the trial and error method.  My first official release arrived in the autumn of 2018 and in only 2023 I received significant streams and listeners with the track “Memory Reboot” with VØJ.  What is your present?   My name’s narvent, I’m a 21 years old Russian music producer. I love pizza, especially with lots of cheese. Why ambient artists collaborate with others? What are the interests and risks?

  Hello “Ø of Ambient” readers, today we are talking about a new interesting topic: collaborations between ambient artists .  By listening to your favorite artists, you maybe noticed that plenty of their tracks have more author names than just one. Those are called collaborations . It’s when two artists decide to make one song together; one sends a demo and the other adds something new. There are lots of interests doing that, not only from the musical point of view, but also marketing one.  Here are the main reasons:  Reaching new public. The artist expands his music to fresh ears, that he could never reach alone. This is why little artists want to make tracks with big producers, so they can grow their audience. Creating new vibes. One of the most interesting collabs are usually when two styles are mixed: vaporwave and phonk, ambient and angelcore, digital hardcore and dreamcore. Hello to all readers of Ø of ambient! Please welcome our fourth guest, a French musician: lyrλmbient.  What is your past ?   117k listeners in 2026. I started producing in 2024. My best tracks were “I can't describe what I'm feeling”, “how does it feel to be alone”, and “please just be real”, which have reached a growing audience online. I was first influenced by artists like diedlonely, oneheart and antent. What is your present ?   My artname is lyrλmbient, I’m French and I’m 20. My creative process is usually based on nostalgia and solitude. I like creating calm, emotional soundscapes inspired by nature. I start a stem with a mood or a feeling and develop it into a full track, keeping the sound minimal and focused. Outside of music, I love doing graphic design.   What is your future ?  My future album is planned for autumn 2026, I will continue building my personal sound in the dark ambient scene.
